Scholarship Award Application
Taste of Buffalo, Inc. in its continuing commitment to Western New York, is proud to offer a scholarship program for college-bound students in the eight counties of Western New York. UPDATE! The Taste of Buffalo is excited to announce that each scholarship has increased by $500.00 as a result of a kind and generous donation on March 31, 2024 from the Eric DuVall What’s Next Fund. Eric, who passed away suddenly in 2022, was an Assistant City Editor at the Buffalo News and a longtime volunteer, board member, and officer for the Taste of Buffalo.
Three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to students who will pursue a degree in the Foodservice or Hospitality industries such as Chef, Baking & Pastry Arts, Travel & Tourism, Hotel Management, etc., will be based on the criteria and terms described in the application.
One $1,500 scholarship will be awarded in partnership with Tops Markets, to a student pursuing a degree in Culinary Arts/Culinary Arts Management such as Nutrition & Wellness, Holistic Nutrition, Food Entrepreneurship, Food Retail Operations, Restaurant Operations, Food Science, Dietetics, Food Stylist, Food Photography, etc. will be based on the criteria and terms described in the application.
