Restaurants, Food Trucks and Wineries encouraged to apply for 2023 Taste of Buffalo presented by Tops

Application Deadline set for February 17

BUFFALO, NY – The Taste of Buffalo presented by Tops today announced that the deadline for restaurants, food trucks and wineries to apply for the 2023 festival is Friday, February 17. Applications can be completed at www.tasteofbuffalo.com or by clicking here for restaurants, or here for food trucks.

“This is a very exciting year for the Taste of Buffalo as we are preparing to celebrate our 40th birthday,” said Elizabeth Mamot, 2023 Taste chair. “We welcome the area’s best restaurants, food trucks and wineries to join us and take advantage of a unique opportunity to promote your offerings to food lovers throughout Western New York and beyond. It’s a great way to reach people who might not otherwise visit your location.”

The Taste of Buffalo takes place on July 8 and 9 along Delaware Avenue and Niagara Square in downtown Buffalo. To be considered for entry, brick and mortar restaurants must be open to the public, operate year-round in Western New York, and offer seating at their principal place of business. Food trucks may also apply. Wineries must be open year-round in the Niagara Escarpment, Lake Erie or Finger Lakes wine region. The Taste of Buffalo presented by Tops is the nation's largest two-day food festival. The 40th annual Taste will take place on July 8 and 9, 2023 along Delaware Avenue in downtown Buffalo. Named one of "10 food and wine festivals you can feel good about attending," by USA Today, the Taste is a not-for-profit organization with more than 1,000 volunteers helping to put on the annual event. More than $545,000 has been raised at the festival for local charities in addition to scholarships awarded annually to local high school seniors pursuing a culinary or hospitality-related degree.
