Taste of Buffalo Presented by Tops Announces $1 Tickets to Simplify Food Festival Experience

May 1, 2019, BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Taste of Buffalo presented by Tops today announced a change to the value of the festival’s food and beverage tickets. For the first time, each ticket will be valued at $1, a modification that is designed to simplify the experience for visitors.

Food and beverage tickets will continue to be sold in $5 sheets at three ticket tents located throughout the festival. Menu items from restaurants and food trucks will remain between one and five tickets ($1 and $5). As always, admission to the Taste of Buffalo is free. The 36th annual food festival takes place July 13 and 14 along Delaware Avenue from Johnson Park to Niagara Square in downtown Buffalo – a footprint that event organizers expanded past Chippewa Street for the first time last year.

“With our new $1 tickets, Taste of Buffalo visitors will benefit from the ease of an even exchange on all food and drink,” said Matt Testa, 2019 Taste of Buffalo chair. “For budget-conscious families and individuals, this change makes it easy to track how much everything costs, including menu items from our restaurants, food trucks, wineries, beer tents, and non-alcoholic beverage stands.”

Tickets were previously sold in fifty-cent increments.
