"I have a strong passion for the culinary arts. I am interested and eager to learn anything I can about this field. I am excited to go to NCCC and learn new things from new chef's and take on more challenges. My participation with BOCES, ProStart, ServSafe and Camp Turner has given me the skills I need to work in this industry. My long term goal is to become a culinary arts instructor."

"After earning my degree in Hospitality Management I aspire to apply my knowledge in the fast-changing and competitive hospitality industry. I eventually hope to own my own hospitality based business." 

"I'm a family oriented person and I love to bring people together though food.  It's exciting to create fun and inventive recipes and have people enjoy them with me. I hope to one day open a bakery of my very own and spread my joy to others."

After completing her education at Johnson & Wales, Amanda hopes to work in a high-end bakery to save up the money to open her own bakery. She hopes to produce beautiful wedding cakes, and create a modern take on some more traditional recipes.

"After two years at NCCC earning a dual degree in Business and Culinary Arts, I plan on furthering my education. Once I have my degrees I plan on working in the food industry with the lifetime goal of opening up my own restaurant."
