Buffalo, NY - Taste of Buffalo presented by TOPS is proud to announce that we have received the 2010 Outstanding Event Award from the Buffalo Niagara Event Professionals.

The Taste received the award at a presentation ceremony held at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens on October 27th. In addition to the awards presentation, the event served as a networking opportunity for the Western New York events community and a celebration of the events that our members and the community work so hard on throughout the year.

About the Awards

The Buffalo Niagara Event Professionals (BNEP) Outstanding Event Awards began in 2007 to recognize the amazing work that event planners and organizers in Western New York do and the wonderful events that they execute and we, as a community, enjoy. This year, events were nominated from June 26th - October 5th. BNEP members then voted for the events that they felt best represented the criteria and what they felt constitutes an outstanding event. The three nominees that received the most votes were awarded the Outstanding Event Award.

The Taste of Buffalo presented by TOPS is the nation's largest two-day food festival, attracting more than 450,000 people in downtown Buffalo.
