The successful Grand Prize Winner will have their artwork used in some of the 2010 "Taste of Buffalo - presented by TOPS" official advertising materials! This is a great opportunity for students to develop a strong understanding of the bond of art within the community and how it can effect the outcome of an event. This project can be used as both a teaching tool and an opportunity for students to further develop their portfolios as they prepare for a curriculum in art and/or design.

Prizes for Winning Entries

(1) Grand Prize: The winner receives a $500 award and the winner's school Art Department will also receive a $500 award. Portions of winner's art design will be featured on select Taste of Buffalo marketing materials including: Poster, Event Guide cover and Table Tents, and the official event poster will be unveiled at the Taste of Buffalo presented by TOPS press conference.

(1) Second Prize: A $200 gift certificate for art supplies and framing courtesy of Hyatt's - All Things Creative.

(1) Third Prize: Gift basket of art supplies from Hyatt's.
