2010 Taste of Buffalo Scholarships

Current high school seniors residing in one of the eight counties in Western New York who intend to pursue a major in a culinary arts or hospitality curriculum are encouraged to apply for one of five $1,000 scholarships being offered by the Taste of Buffalo in 2010. Students will be evaluated based on academic achievement, experience, enthusiasm, recommendations, community involvement, goals and objectives, and overall interest.

The eight counties of Western New York are: Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Genesee, Wyoming, Chatauqua, Cattaraugus and Allegany.

To apply students must submit the scholarship application, two letters of reference and a high school transcript.

The application deadline is Friday, April 2, 2010. Winners will be notified by May 31, 2010. For more information, please contact Ann Marie Moscovic, Scholarship Chairperson, at moscovia@canisius.edu.
